NW District Young Adults
The Northwest District Young Adult Ministry seeks to resource local churches to creatively minister with young adults (18-30 year olds, single, married, with or without kids) & to connect young adults with others on their faith journeys during this transitional time of life.
It is the hope to have multiple opportunities for leaders to connect for encouragement, training & support and for young adults to connect & grow in faith through district events & discipleship opportunities.

2026 Events
Young Adults and Young Adult Leaders/Pastors! Come join us for dinner and worship night at Twinlow Camp & Retreat Center just minutes away from Silverwood Theme Park! We will gather together on Friday, May 29th for dinner, worship and fun connecting with one another and then head over to Silverwood Theme Park Saturday morning, May 30th, for more fun together! Cost is all-inclusive. Lodging has space for families/married couples to room together. Kids are discounted at $45/kid (ages 3+). 2 and under are free.
Young Adult Retreat
Our young adult retreat has moved to the fall! Dates and more information coming soon!
The way for the journey isn’t always clear or linear. This initiative journeys with young adults (18-30 years of age) as they engage in a process of discovery and discernment within a supportive and empowering environment of certified coaches and mentors. Launching Fall 2026, young adults will spend eight months discerning their purpose, calling and what’s next in life as they meet with a certified coach and a chosen mentor. A calling guide will ignite conversation between young adults and their mentors. Coaches will help young adults discover within themselves how God has called them, gifted them and is leading them; coaches will also help young adults determine goals and offer accountability. Our 2026-2027 cohort will be limited to 5 young adults. Applications will open June 1st at nwnyi.com/youngadults and the program will run September 2026 - May 2027. Cost is $150 and includes eight months of one-on-one personal coaching and development, a calling guide and book.

Scholarships:
If you need help getting something going at your church for young adults, we have some funds set aside to help you. Contact April Manning and we’ll see what we can do! Additionally, if you have any young adults who need financial assistance to attend district events, and your church is unable to support them, let’s chat!
